YARD OF THE MONTH

Each Month 2 Winners Receive a $50 Gift Card!

As a reminder to everyone, our YOM committee will take a two month break and our next selection will take place in the middle of March.

It cost nothing to enter the contest and there is no sign up necessary to participate.

Simply do a great job of taking care of your property, lawn, and landscape and you could be a winner of a $50 gift cards on a monthly basis.

We also have a Christmas Decoration Contest!
The winner will receive a $100 gift card.

RULES

  1. The same property can only be a winner of one of our monthly awards during the year and first time ever winners get priority when judging is tough.
  2. All monthly winners during the year can also be the winner of the December award.
  3. Winners of the December award are not eligible to win in consecutive years.

It is the belief of our committee and hopefully the rest of our board and residents in our HOA, that the $1,100 we are spending on gift cards each year is a great investment and incentive to get more people to have pride in their property and their work.

Criteria Used in Judging the Yard of the Month Winners

  • Homeowner/property must be current on all association fees and have no outstanding deed restriction violations.
  • House must be clean (no mold/mildew/dirt), no repairs or maintenance needed to any visible parts of the house from the street.
  • Yard not just mowed, trimmed, edged, but detailed, i.e., flower beds pretty and free of weeds, grass green, etc.
  • Trees and shrubs trimmed, fencing in good repair, and any yard art tastefully displayed.
  • Overall appearance of the property must be aesthetically pleasing.

Areas Served

  • One certificate and Yard of the Month sign is given to any resident of Fairfax which includes all of Banquo Dr. and everything across the Reynaldo bridge behind the clubhouse along with all cul-de-sac streets off of Reynaldo Dr. and the streets of McCleester, Donaldbain and a short section of Naples.
  • The other certificate and Yard of the Month sign is given to any resident in Spring Place and Birnam Wood Sections I and II. Chestergate Drive is our last street off of Birnam Wood Blvd., while Cimber to Chestergate is last street on right side in our HOA when entering from Treaschwig .
