August Board of Director’s Meeting

Meeting began at 6:35pm. The last meetings minutes and financial statement were read and approved.

New Business:

To honor the passing of Vice President Dave King, a long time Board member who served in many capacities with the Board and in the community, it was unanimously decided to name the park located at the Clubhouse the “Dave King Park”. An appropriately named sign has been permanently placed on the fence at the park. Mrs. Betty King along with some family members were present at the meeting to accept this honor on behalf of her husband. The Board also has a clock for presentation to Mrs. King as well.

Mr. OG Gamez was selected to fill the remainder of Dave King’s term.

2017 Projects:

  • Security camera replacement
  • New security lighting at the Clubhouse
  • Street light installation at bridge next to the Clubhouse
  • Sidewalks along Renaldo at the approaches to the bridge
  • Replace roofing and other repairs at the pool
  • Replace doors at the pool
  • Clubhouse procedures were finalized
  • New web site development was approved

Public Comment:

Some residents attending were concerned about the length of time that trash stays in some yards. It was explained that letters sent to residents with code violations exact a quick response from most but there are a few who ignore the letters and legal actions take longer to resolve the issue. So while it may seem that these violations are ignored, they are not, they are in litigation.
